"Child & Family Services is proud to be part of this exciting new effort being launched by Kerri Howell. Wear 'n Share helps fill an emerging need being experienced by a growing number of people in our community. During this economic recession, so many more families are turning to Child & Family Services for a helping hand with essentials needed by their children. Wear 'n Share provides our organization with a tremendous opportunity to help meet these needs in a new and creative way. "
Rosanne Wisniewski, Annual Giving Coordinator
Child & Family Services
"There are no words meaningful enough to express my appreciation for your hard work and genuine dedication, but THANK YOU. I can say that I have hope in this world because there are people, like you, combating for a better world, and giving time to our children.
I am really grateful for your help. A child won't have to wait for the school bus without proper attire; because of your enormous work and efforts. I know this is the beginning of a great journey."
Carlos Ortiz de Jesus, Preventative Caseworker
Gateway-Longview
"I'd like to thank you and all involved in gathering up baby girl items for one of my clients in need! I was informed of this service recently and had no idea you existed. Thank GOD for word of mouth and spreading the word!! I'd like to provide a thank you on behalf of my agency and client. Again-- God's Blessings!!" Valarie Guthrie-Potts, AIDS Family Services
"I just have to share a story with you... yesterday I brought the bags of clothing to the family of 5. The 6 year old little girl immediately ran up to me to tell me that it was her birthday and then told me that her mom and dad didn't have any money to buy her a present. I remembered that there was a small purse in her bag of clothing and told her that you had remembered it was her birthday and gave her the purse. When she opened the purse there were several pieces of jewelry in there which just thrilled her. One of the pieces was an angel necklace and angels are her favorite! You made her day!!!! Thank you again for all you do!!!" Jane Wilson, Family Counselor, Preventive Services.
